Throwing a virtual birthday party might not be something you’ve done before, but thankfully, it’s easier than you might think. Just like with an in-person virtual party, you should spend time planning it and making it a memorable experience for the birthday person and party guests. It’s almost been a year since the Covid-19 pandemic hit the globe and instantly changed our lives. Even where it’s allowed, parents are still hesitant about the idea of having social gatherings to celebrate kids’ birthdays. While some have decided to skip it altogether, others have taken the plunge of organizing a socially distant birthday party.
Let’s face it, organizing and hosting an at-home kids birthday party is sometimes stressful. My parents and I occasionally think back and laugh about my 7th birthday party. We actually call it ‘the birthday party from hell’. At the time, I successfully convinced my parents that I was old enough to entertain and take care of my guests all on my own.
